MISSION

Our mission is to empower our neighbors in four communities on the border of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. We do this in a wide variety of ways, by focusing on sustainable agricultural, food security, conservation, nutrition and education.

We believe that all of these issues are intricately linked and that we cannot fully address any one of them without coming at it from a holistic perspective. JACARAFE acts as an umbrella for our many community partners; offering trainings and a platform with which we can coordinate our diverse efforts.
